sent me this stamper to review for you! It also comes in gold, but I
picked the silver. It has a really nice weight to it. It’s much heaver
than the usual stampers I use, but the weight is really nice and it
feels sturdy. The stamper head is quite squishy – squishier than I’m
used to.
I did need to prime the stamper quite a bit before I could get it to work. I used a glass nail file to rough it up and some acetone to clean it. (I know, I know. Lots of people say not to use acetone on stamper heads because it will eventually break them down. Well here’s the straight truth – I don’t care. It works and it works well. Stamper heads are cheap and can be easily replaced. So that’s why I use acetone on my stampers.)
The stamper did a pretty decent job. There is some smudging and some patchy spots. I think it needs to be broken in a little bit more – perhaps a few more acetone washes. I will be using it for more manicures so keep an eye out to see if it gets better.
Polishes used were Enchanted Polish Reign Beau and Mundo de Unas White. The stamping plate I used in this mani was BP-L029 which was also sent as a press sample.
Thanks again to BPS for sending me this to review! You can find these supplies and more in the nail art section of the Born Pretty Store.
